Review on 💡 LIFX E12 Candle Color Wi-Fi Smart Bulb by Garrett Craven

I love these little guys. With a lightbulb that fits an E12 socket, I can place the Lifx anywhere in the house. I had enough for a chandelier in our house (6 pieces) and installed them. I had no trouble setting it up (contrary to some of the reviews I read here). I've had issues with some lights I've bought from Lifx before, but never to the point where I've had to return them. With that said, I turned them all on and they worked right away. The flickering of the candle is super cool and the Lifx app's Animate Theme works great as a backlight. Although I gave 5 stars in the rating, I would have liked it to be a little brighter. Lifx says they are for decoration and not functional lighting, so be careful. I'm a fan of very bright light when I want it and the BR30 and A19 are barely bright enough. Either way these little guys put out a lot of light and I think that will be enough for most people. However, if you use them as the only light source in the room, you may need to purchase additional bulbs to add lumens or add other light sources to the room. . I would like to be able to control individual zones on the lamp (similar to other Lifx multi-zone lights). Currently I can't find a way to do this. Also theme animation or similar if the effect stops after some time. I think it has to do with the app (the Lifx app) and not the lightbulbs themselves and since I really enjoy running themes on these little animated lightbulbs. Finally, and this is very important for the application, I want to be able to change the color of the candle's flickering effect. I do D&D games for friends in our house and it would be great to have a different color fire. Suffice it to say that Lifx will likely fix these things in an update to their app soon. I really felt like they helped other customers figure out what they were getting into. I have money here when it becomes available again so I can make another chandelier in our house. Lix for life!
