I have long needed a label printer to keep our house organized and to put labels on storage boxes so we know instantly what's inside. I originally wanted to get a standard label printer, but then I came across this little device. It's great because it's a thermal printer that doesn't use ink, which could save me money. Thermal printers use small heating elements to activate or transfer pigment. It uses chemically treated paper that darkens when heated by the thermal head. On the positive side, thermal printers do not require separate consumables for ink, toner, or ribbon. The downside to saving on ink costs is that it requires special thermal paper which can be expensive, but this label printer comes with a roll of thermal paper already installed. printer that is good. You just need to peel off the sticker and pull out some paper to fit in the feeder, otherwise the display will show "Out of Paper". This label printer is very light, weighing just over a pound. It's compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand and is easy to take with you in your pocket or backpack. Besides its compact design, another nice feature is that it's completely wireless and can be charged with the included power adapter, making it truly portable. This label printer is compatible with paper labels with a minimum width of 20mm and a maximum width of 50mm. I wish this machine could print thinner labels like a standard label printer so I can use it to label cables or small items as well. You need to download a free mobile application called "Phomemo-M110" compatible with IOS and Android smartphones. You can connect to the printer via Bluetooth and use the mobile app to create and customize labels, or use one of the 500+ free templates in the mobile app. It comes with two (2) default fonts, but you can download nine (9) additional fonts that are fun to use for label designs. You can also add icons, logos, or photos, but this works best with just text and simple icons. Unfortunately, photos do not print well and are blurry or indistinguishable. Also remember that this is a black and white print only, not a color print. Thermal printers are most commonly used to print items such as shipping labels, receipts, barcodes, etc. This device is so cute and even cute when you turn it on or off because it makes a cute beep sound. There were times when the labels would pull in blank labels after I printed something, so I just restarted the machine and that seemed to help, and I folded the paper back so I didn't waste it. This is a very handy tool that helps me mark up and organize beautifully!
