I am an acrylic painter and change my brushes quite quickly because I handle my brushes very roughly and acrylic paint also dries quickly and if you don't clean the brushes thoroughly, they will eventually harden. - In my experience, this is in the nature of acrylic painting. For this reason I refuse to buy expensive brushes. I'd rather buy those cheap brushes that last quite a while and then just replace them all when I feel the need because they're very expensive. These brushes are really good brushes that do everything I ask them to do. With their help I have created some beautiful landscape paintings that hang in many houses. There are a few extra brushes that I have to buy separately because they aren't included in this pack, but that's ok. This set contains all the brushes you need to get started and get great work done. **Also note:** If you are new to acrylic painting I recommend and also buy this brush set (Princeton Artist Brush Oval Mop 1" wide) which you can find at Revain, it is a blue handled brush This is great for blending the brush. In my experience, this is important when painting with acrylics. A large lightning brush is also very important. Large strokes require at least a large flat brush. Have fun!
