I fitted an old Stewart Warner pressure gauge to my Ingersoll garden tractor in place of an hour meter. The original bayonet bulb was too frosted and orange for my liking, so I tried these BA9S LED bulbs. It was slightly brighter than the bulb he was replacing, and the whiter color made the numbers on the gauge easier to see, and the orange needle glowed like you'd expect from a quality gauge. You want to use the original instrument cluster but give it a more modern look with whiter lights. However, if you like a blindingly bright dashboard, these bulbs are probably not for you. Right now I'm rating durability five stars until I've had it last longer.
