It works as advertised!
Lettuce and other fresh vegetables tend to brown and lose their crispness in the fridge. Even if I save it in the "Clearer" section. We try to make the salad and eat it quickly after we bring the veggies home, but sometimes they stay in the fridge longer than we'd like. To make sure that doesn't happen, I have a "salad guard". It works. I bought a head of lettuce and before I could use it I went on vacation for a week. I put the salad in the salad bin and when I got home it was just as fresh as when I bought it. I am very happy with my purchase.
