One of the misleading elements of the soap pouch is that the instructions say to take out the soap after each use, which is a bit misleading as I was originally always looking for something to store the soap in I take a shower. Fortunately, they offer a small soap holder that solves this problem. The washcloth itself is not soft, it definitely scratches, which was surprising when you first used it, but you can easily adjust the pressure you apply the washcloth with. It lathers great, I usually put the soap dish down, rub it in until it lathers, then remove the soap dish so I don't use more than I have to. Loofah also goes well with body gel. I can feel it flaking but not as much as an organic washcloth. After prolonged use, I noticed that part of the knit has come undone, which is not good if, like me, you're looking for a more eco-friendly and durable washcloth.
