Review on All Purpose Extra Strong Heavy Duty Bonded Sewing Thread (Winter) Great For Quilting by Tara Ford

I bought this to hand sew, not machine sew. I like that it's thin and strong enough to use single ply thread as double thread is much more prone to knotting and needs to be threaded twice as often. However, the "internally bound" thread shouldn't fray and separate into layers when you cut it, which is bad. This makes threading the needle almost impossible without a needle threader. Well-known brands like COats and Clark don't do this. At the same time I bought this large spool of black Mandala brand furniture twine and it WILL NOT separate when cut.
