I was so happy to get this camera because I love all my v2 Wyze cameras they work so well. But the Wyze Outdoor Cam is NOT like them. I think a lot of people were hoping for a v2 outdoor version - this is NOT the case. This camera makes a solid and good quality impression; it shows a decent picture; and easy to install. But other than that, it's not a surveillance camera. • Motion will not be detected even if you have a sensitivity of 100. • No movement will be detected even if you walk or run within a few meters of the camera. • No video is captured / no notifications in night vision mode • In day mode there may or may not be 1-2 motion captures per day • Sensitive to its SD card • It is slow - live feed is not displayed quickly • At night the live Image slightly blurry vision through everything too close to the field (eaves of the house, open window nearby, porch with railing) and glows white so that nothing else can be seen; This happens even if you only have a large deciduous tree a few hundred meters in front of the camera - the tree almost glows and then the camera sees almost nothing. Not balanced. I really wanted to love it and be able to use it. I still hope I can. But more and more it looks like I have to send it back because it just doesn't do the job. I really needed a security camera and it's more like an interesting toy. (I bought some real security cameras from another company.) Buy this camera if you don't mind sitting in front of the Wyze app screen like a security guard. . If not, don't buy because it won't help you much.
