Definitely a plus!
I ordered this mattress with some hesitation that I wouldn't be able to test it personally and knowing how subjective the soft/medium/firm rating can be. I was hoping for something soft but with a firm grip. I ordered this mattress anyway. It was supposed to arrive on Saturday but arrived three days early. I didn't have my bed platform yet so I opened the box which was completely crumpled and let it inflate as needed. My platform arrived in a few days and I have now slept on it for three nights. i love this bed It's the perfect combination of soft upper and firm support. In terms of firmness, it's definitely not the firmest mattress I've slept on, but it's not plush either. I couldn't be happier.
