I bought these to replace the 40 watt General Electric soft white light bulb in my Whirlpool fridge. They fit perfectly, and the brightness, size and color were absolutely identical to the old one. It will take time, but since the fridge door is open for a minute at most, I'm pretty sure it will last longer than the fridge itself.
