I've been in the jewelry business for about 12 years now and trust me when I say I've tried a lot of tongs! Most of them do a reasonable job, but these loop pliers are amazing! The soft handles are very comfortable and reduce the likelihood of hand strain. The amazing thing is that the padding doesn't slip or move like so many do! They are very easy to use and definitely not difficult. I was traveling and wanted to take my beads on a plane to work on them as it was a long journey. I was worried the TSA might confiscate my pliers, but I didn't want to lose my baby wubbers! So I settled on a reputable competitor's pliers, which I used before I found these pliers. If they confiscate - fine! They didn't take them, so on the plane I pulled everything out, laid everything out neatly, and started putting pins in my beads. On the second bead I cut out the pins and clean everything up! I didn't like the quality, the hardness of the grips and how rough everything was. I was so spoiled with my Baby Wubbers I couldn't use anything else! These really are the best pliers you can find without breaking the bank!
