WORKS WELL ON BOTH MY BROTHERS' MACHINES: XL3750 and LX3817

About 58 cents each, I can't be wrong. On my new LX3817 I have to guide the line with my finger as it is being wound to fill the spool and have a hard time seeing if it is building up smoothly. I wound the bobbin on an old machine (XL3750) that winds automatically. Although I usually wrap several at a time, I bought the LX3817 so that I don't have to go to an unheated sewing room in winter. I was hesitant as thread seems lighter on pre-wound bobbins, but this is NOT an issue on either machine! My machines have been picky about the threads they like - ie. After trying a few different brands I found that they both really liked Coats and Clarks All Purpose for both coil and coil with no issues especially no tension issues. I was hesitant to use pre-wound threads as they seemed much thinner. These pre-wraps worked great on both machines - I didn't have to touch the tension at all! woo hoo! [XL3817: Tension = 3, Stitch #9 and what I usually use on this machine.] [XL3750: Tension 3; white dial stitch no. 2; Gray dial at 3; The stitch width is 0. I use different settings on this machine but haven't tried any other settings as I know the above work well.]
