Background When the first Crocs came out many years ago I resisted the shoes and the movement. They have been worn by all my children and even some adults. Not sure if it was foam, excitement or a trend. . . or just everything. I had a serious unfounded prejudice against shoes. Fast forward to today. I'm alone in an apartment with hard, cold floors and worn labels. It was an unfortunate experience, I needed help. So I was looking for Crocs. at the low point of my life. Then I found these fakes that were half the price. I ordered them, received them and tried them on. I was surprised by the comfort and amazed that a product of this quality is still legal and not subject to high taxes. Despite the external comfort, I was internally ambivalent and vowed not to wear them on the street, it was a Tuesday, on Thursday I wore them around town and in court (video conference). To me, these are emotional support shoes, so don't be surprised if your opinion of injection molded shoes changes with every marshmallow step after you've slipped on these fake shoes.
