For the price you expect great socks and they live up to that expectation. We bought these socks along with our waterproof hiking boots which we also bought for our 2 week Alaska hike. Luckily we had very little rain. However, these socks are incredibly comfortable. As a result, I asked for two more pairs for my birthday.
