Review on Enhance Your Audio Quality with the Shure CVL Centraverse Clip-On Lavalier Condenser Microphone by Brian Dildine

I'm a wedding DJ. This is used with a BLX or SLX bodypack for the attendant's mic when I am providing audio for ceremonies. This microphone's omnidirectional pickup pattern is PERFECT for this situation; it usually captures the bride and groom reciting their vows while within feet of the cleric. Admittedly, it doesn't pick them up as well as a waiter, but it helps enough that guests can hear a "yes" through the speakers, and for that application I'd recommend it over the W93 or any other Shure. lapel microphone Aside from the pickup circuitry, the sound quality of this microphone is excellent. I bought another along with a BLX14 wireless device for my church so my pastor could record Sunday morning teachings. Playing back recordings really gives you the opportunity to closely examine the sound quality and it exceeded my expectations. As a bonus, this mic is one of Shure's cheapest lavalier mics! Shure never seems to disappoint.
