We have a cat perch so the smallest of our three cats (8lb Burmese, 17lb Tomboy and 22lb Maine Coon) can jump off the top of the cat tower onto the wall Deploy that in two of the bedroom runs over the wardrobes. after assembly we saw that part of the wall was flush with the wall and the shelf hadn't moved, we thought that was great, now a burmese man with two others can go up there and look down at us. However, the Maine Coon jumped on it about three times before the shelf broke off the part of the wall that was attached to the wall. So we ended up putting some wooden blocks under the cat tower or raising it 8 inches and now all three cats can easily fit in the insert.
