We bought this in the Kia Forte GT 2020 because of the limited space to charge the phone on the wireless charging pad. If you keep pushing your connected phone (wired) into the charging pad (for Apple Play/Android Auto purposes) and flexing the charging cable, it will eventually fail at the bend in the cable. This 90 degree connector is perfect for this situation. The cable no longer bends and should last for years. No problems so far and it has some length that can be rolled up with the included velcro to keep it clean. Very nice, I will definitely buy again.
