Daughter needs to wear red or white canvas shoes for her school uniform. I don't think she has wide feet, but we couldn't fit her feet into regular canvas or leather SNEAKERS. Found these and they fit great. She LOVES these shoes! I also bought VANS and Converse as they usually sell out but she really prefers them. I'm not sure if it's because they're red and the rest is white, but I think part of it has to do with comfort. She seems to stumble across pairs other than these more often, although the sock isn't all that different from Vans or Converse. Maybe a few millimeters make a big difference. She will soon outgrow them
