1st DOA was not dead though (defective on arrival). It would freeze and you had to loosen tiny screws and remove the battery to restart it. It could also remember times incorrectly, no matter when you clicked the 'Split Lap Time' button it would always show 0.6 with something as the recorded lap time. The 2nd one I'm ordering for someone who was wanted before I knew of any problems and so far it's working perfectly. It has a built in countdown timer as well as the current temperature.
