Love these: Makeup brushes and tools

These brushes are everything I hoped for: good quality, soft as hell and useful in their variety. I had a lot of fun trying them, and not necessarily for the purposes stated on the sheet that accompanies the brushes. I actually really liked the blush brush and it has a tiny head (it's the 8th brush from the left in the picture) - haha. But beyond that, I knew what I wanted to do with each brush, and no doubt each of them worked beautifully. I usually use flat brushes for the foundation, but I can use a smaller convex brush for this as well. I use a large curved brush or a shorter one to apply loose or compact powder. I use a smaller soft tip for various concealers and a very hard little brush (5th from left) to apply a small amount of shadow near the lashes (although this goal doesn't work as well as it actually does). everything goes smoothly and part of the shadow falls on my eyelashes - I have to try another brush). I really like the short brushes that I take with me when I travel. In terms of bristle performance I've only seen 1 so far. I've washed these brushes in dish soap a couple of times because it removes the grease in foundation and concealer really well. In between washes, I wipe them down with an alcohol wipe for hygiene reasons, especially after using foundation and concealer. This is a tip I got from another reviewer and it works great with these brushes. After washing a few brushes weren't completely dry the next morning - no problem as I had them 90% dry I was still able to use them. These brushes are very comfortable in my hands. They're lightweight and feel durable, and I especially like the ones with thicker than usual grips. The only thing I haven't used and never will use as I don't use mascara or eyebrow powder is an eyebrow/eyelash brush. I'm also not going to use the first brush on the left (the typical foundation brush) as I prefer a flat or curved brush for this purpose and I already have three of those brushes. I can also use a flat or dome shape for blush. It's fun to try different things with these brushes and I was a little surprised, like the eighth brush from the left I tried with concealer, at how well they can work, even though I didn't originally think about the space. IMHO these brushes are just as good as the more expensive brushes I've had and I think I'll get a few more for Christmas.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • I doubt it
