The quality of the material and the feel are very good. These aren't super bulky sweatpants, but they're not too thin either to keep him warm on chilly days. You can also wear underpants underneath when it's colder, or winter pants over them when it's too windy or too cold. Another problem is that the drawstring can be pulled completely out of the pants by a little boy who is busy with his body.
