These pants are very well made, with attention to detail and nice finishes. The side zip pockets have a placket that is a rigid material and it keeps the zipper from warping or sticking out. I like that feature a lot. They are a loose fit around hips and thighs, almost like a dropped crotch pant unless you sit the waistband at your natural waist, but snug in the calf and fitted at the waist. Personally, I like that you have options for two looks. They have a good amount of comfortable stretch in the waist though. They are not super warm, so a base layer would be necessary for cold days.
