Review on πŸ” Frankford Arsenal Polishing Separator for Reloading by Greg Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little kit to start wet acrobatics.

Pros: design, materials, complete set Cons: Unknown Recommendation: Highly recommended. This is an all-inclusive package that will get you wet in no time. I recommend buying Lemi Shine and Dawn Dish Soap if you're not already sitting around. You need to remove the primer from the brass first, and I recommend either RCBS Decap Die (.27-.45 cal Heavy Duty) or RCBS Decap Die (.22-.25 cal). Your brass will be looking like new in less time. You will also need a Frankford Media magnet for SS media and a case/media separator if you don't have one. RCBS and Frankford are my recommendations. If the engine dies in the process I will replace it with the exact same one and get two baths. Review: I was the guy with the vibrating corncob massager until I researched alternative measures and found out how toxic the dust cloud from the vibrating drum was. there was a mug (seriously, I'm not an expert, look and try not to breathe). Wet tumbling cleans brass in less time. Of course there are a few more steps, but this saves time cleaning the capsule pockets. My recommended checklist: Make sure one side is capped tightly with 1 quart unsealed brass (any gauge). Maximum 2 liters. Insert 5 lbs of the included SS3/4 9mm lemishin filled brass carrier. Fill with hot water up to the shoulder. It's enough and in my experience more than 2 hours never lasts more than 90 minutes. Try it yourself and see what works.

Pros
  • SPECIFICATIONS: With a large 7 liter capacity, this mug can clean up to 1000 .223 brass cases at a time
Cons
  • boring packaging
