This is a very well designed and reliable set of walking/hiking poles, especially at the great price! They have all the features you would normally look for, including quick telescopic adjustments, cork grips and "reverse shift" grips on the bottom. So if you suddenly find yourself on a steeper incline, you can choke on the bars by grabbing the bottom handles. They also have nicely padded hand straps, mud and snow basket sets, and pavement and rock spike sets, as well as built-in spiked hard spikes for tough mud. These poles are lightweight, durable and come with a nice carrying case that holds everything you need. Adjusting the length is very easy with the pivoting arms and if it's loose just tighten the knurled nut a little and then close it.
