I gave this 4 stars because I was able figure things out when my key arrived. The good about this key fob is I was able to get the key cut correctly, but had to go to a Jaguar dealership to get it programmed to start the car. Cost for programming and cutting was 117.00. The plastic ring holder is just plastic, and will fallout if you don't glue it in place before you put a key tag on this. This key can be programmed without going to a dealership. You can find the instructions online at www.jaquartech.com. But you'll have to get it cut at a locksmith. Make sure he cuts it so the key can turn in the ignition without starting car.
