We are living in a pandemic and the virus is transmitted in many ways, including touch. The virus rises to the surface, you touch that surface and the chance of infection increases. Gloves are one way to protect your hands. That's why I bought these gloves. They protect my hands every time I leave my apartment and throw them away as soon as I come back. That is the goal. Why these gloves? What I didn't want were thick and loose gloves. I wanted gloves that were the skin of my hands. Many gloves used by healthcare professionals are heavy/thick and loose. My hands are a fairly normal size - neither particularly large nor particularly small. These gloves are tight. That's what I wanted. These gloves are thin which means they feel more like leather than a case, making it harder for you to do things you could possibly do if you weren't wearing them. These gloves are exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with them.
