Ok I was initially very skeptical about buying this machine because of its small size. When I got it, I read all the little literature that went with it. Then I did more online stuff about it since I was very new to it. Anyway I bought this to get rid of a really bad smoke smell in a car I just bought. I cleaned the car as best I could and opened all the seats and drawers, started the car and turned the fan down as low as possible and on recirculation mode. I thought that 10-15 minutes is enough, the timer is not very accurate, but it seems normal. So, I connect the machine and everything is ready in working mode! This scared me because I immediately smelled the ozone, so I hit the off button as fast as I could and backed away. I played with the timer and set it for about 15 minutes, flipped the switch and closed the doors. I set a timer on my phone for 55 minutes because after it turns off you have to wait 15-45 minutes before opening the doors. Well after 55 minutes I opened the door and the damn thing was still working! Lol I slammed the door, unplugged the cable and waited 45 minutes so basically it worked the full 55 minutes in the Nissan Altima. I decided to open the trunk and all 4 doors and leave it for 2 hours on a windy day, how can you be too careful right? Anyway, holy shit! The machine is as sterile as an operating room! Now if I had to explain the smell, it's as fresh as a rainy day in the middle of the ocean! Seriously, if you were in space it would be so fresh! Very pleased, not sure if 55 minutes is recommended but it worked on my super smoky machine, FYI to anyone reading this.
