I used this extension to distribute power in a home theater cabinet. It has good USB power ports with very adequate performance; most others are not. The device itself is very compact and looks spectacular. I was only missing one, but most users won't need it. Most extensions of this type have two holes in the bottom so they can be permanently attached to a surface.
