As the title says. The knuckle guards are hard plastic and although I've never fallen into these gloves I'm sure they will protect my knuckles. The palm is thinly padded. The fingertips are sensitive to the touchscreen and work. Gloves are stylish, not flashy. I wear them all the time when I ride my bike (I ride an e-bike and go 30 miles per hour).
