doesn't work with M1 MacBook Air
This cable works fine with older Macs, but it doesn't work with Thunderbolt/USB4 ports on my MacBook Air, and I don't think that means it will work on other machines M1 presumably this is because the length exceeds the USB4 limit, which is technically only 0.8m, although in practice there are several 2m USB4 cables available.
