The perfect camera for studio work. Excellent color reproduction that forgives all the shortcomings of this camera. Professional quality and reliability. I do not recommend for reportage shooting, for wedding shooting it is not a cost-effective purchase when there is 5D. Has pros: Very beautiful colors. It conveys skin tone in its own way (for an amateur), but there is no purple on the faces as in 5D. The shutter releases smoothly and fits well in the hand. The viewfinder is very large, focusing is fast and accurate. The battery capacity is enough for 2 days of shooting, 2 batteries are included and a charger for 2 is also a big plus. Reliable, all-weather and with a long shutter life. Got cons: Bad screen (compared to more modern cameras) exposure scale on the side, not very convenient especially when taking a vertical shot. All focus points are in the center. Small buffer. When shooting in full RAW, only 10-12 frames in a series, when using an x600 card, you can take a maximum of 10 frames in a row, waiting for recording 15-20 seconds, it can be critical on a reportage. sRAW of only 5 megapixels (a quarter of a frame from 21 megapixels) could be made at least 10 megapixels as in 5Dm2. ISO only up to 1600, extension up to 3200 can be used, but not for printing. There is not enough opportunity to set ISO 2022-2500, although there is such a thing on 1Dm3. Heavier than 5D with a battery grip. The price is overpriced by about half.
