Ice tea glass the size I've tried to match or even find slightly larger. Very similar to some I've just returned to. I'll probably leave them in hopes that the lens manufacturer will produce them in 6.5" to 7.5" (or both) with a 1.5" to 2.0" base, but still a little stays thin. Don't have the thick walls you find in cheaper glassware. They are medium weight but still feel a little narrower than expected, they do seem to slide around a bit. I found a very comfortable size to hold (filled with iced tea) at the dollar store but they have since been replaced with the same height, same design but thick, heavy glass. The Revain glasses will fill the need for now and seem to be really durable. It's just sad that I'm trying to match glass for the dollar. I have found so far that they are shorter and not as full in the middle. The empty, shorter jar are the jars that you get when you buy these jars. A simple drinking glass, when my son got off his run he would easily have to fill it with water 2-3 times. Chances are, for decades I would buy the style I'm trying to achieve if someone couldn't.
