This is fantastic. It doesn't leak and keeps my coffee or tea hot all day. In fact, it works so damn well I have to put ICE CUBE in my freshly brewed tea to drink on the way to work. If I don't, it stays so hot it's hard to drink. love this shop. It is durable and reliable. However, it tastes funny when new because of outgassing in the rubber. I've found this to be true with tea and even coffee. The seals have a silicone-like feel that are generally harmless, but they add an odd taste. It's definitely worth leaving it overnight with boiled water and running it through the seals. I did this and the weird taste went away. I also like it with the release of gases. I have tested this mug with various thermos flasks and vacuum containers. It was very good, especially since it was the only option with a light to poor upper. The two best thermoses had to have the lid unscrewed and poured into another container, while this mug requires the push of a button. You can't beat this design for convenience.
