This product does well for basic hanging work but has gaps when using picture hooks (compared to regular post). The idea is to frame the picture and find its place on the wall. . This works well enough (if the frame tab (whatever it's called) is big enough to go through the plastic piece to hold it. The few smaller frames it required were just too big for the job. Once installed insert the plastic device and it will make a small hole for you as a pilot.Great if you are just using a nail but in the wrong place using the hanging hooks provided then you must try to measure where the hole should be. So it was a bit annoying Pros - layers helped (top one is useless if you hang the pic over your head) - long enough to help with multiple photos but I still need it a longer tier for large/multiple wall frames - there are options for single name and double nailing (double for use with a cable frame hanging system) Cons - the pilot hole is not where it should be lte note for the included hanging bracket - the hanging bracket is too wide to accommodate many small frames. does not fit in the frame eyelet. Could be a silver bullet for all suspension operations. ...just not quite there yet.
