I originally ordered these because I use small clips to hold my hair up at night, but I always get strands of small clips that drive me crazy (they always hit my eyes or nose!) , so I thought they're so tiny, they'd be perfect. I'm grown up but I love glitter especially when I'm on stage (musician). I couldn't resist at Christmas: I pulled out 5 red and 5 green bobby pins and threw them through my hair for a Christmas concert. I have so many positive reviews! Even the guys in our group tried to figure out how I make glitter (I guess we're supposed to be having fun with our clothes, right?). I put them back on on Christmas Eve and it was festive and fun. I've had a few bad hair days since then, which I was able to fix by placing a couple of these clips on the side to keep the bottom hair down. Even the tiny claw clips would be too big and obtrusive, squeezing my hair and looking ridiculously random in the middle of my hair, but the tiny flower clips are so cute, it looks like I'm actually a little dressed up! I wouldn't wear them to a high-end law firm, for example, but they're awesome with casual jeans or stage costumes!
