I was a bit disappointed when I received this product as I didn't realize how short the sleeves would be. I assume they were cut out and meant to be used as sleeves to put on your table? Or maybe just run behind your TV? In any case, the sockets are shorter than I need. I think I probably needed 3-4 foot grommets, but instead I got these short ones that don't fully cover the length of my cords. So it's a bit ugly when you see the case and then the big cables sticking out at the ends. However, the worst thing about these cases is how much dust they collect. The material they are made of attracts dust everywhere and they are not easy to clean. The purpose of wrapping cords is so you don't have to unroll the grommets to clean them. They are usually intended for long-term installation. But as dirty as these sleeves get, I almost feel like I have to take them off and throw them in the sink to clean them again. Were They Terrible Investments? No, they still did most of their work. But I would probably think about doing something with a different material and more authentic.
