I bought these for my 6 year old daughter who got her ears pierced a year ago. She still has a bit of an issue with one ear closing up quickly when she's not wearing anything all day, so I bought these to keep in my ears most of the time, especially at night. Other types would poke them or stick the rear end in their ears, causing infection. These earrings are too thick to fit in your ears AND they have a hook at the end where they attach to the other half (see photo). Why would they put a hook in it, I don't know, but he'll poke a hole in her ear if he tries to get that thing out! I tried putting them in my ears but they are so thick that it is difficult to hit them because they are curved. And the hook scratched my ear when I tried to pull it out. DO NOT buy these for your little girl. Or yourself. But I will say that they are beautiful. You just have to work on the design.
