My cat is really starting to love this thing! You know what cats are. She was much more interested in the huge box it was in with all the crumpled wrapping paper. Anyway, I sat her down there and petted her a few times to get her comfortable. She started jumping in herself, but only for a moment. Yesterday she slept there for 4 hours, got some food and water and hoped to come back for another 3 hours nap. I added photos. She is only 6 months old, so small and makes the window bed very spacious. She only weighs about 5-6 pounds. I put a 14 lb cat in there and it was snug but comfortable and held tight. The suction cups are very strong and rotate to get a good grip on the jar. Give your cat time to get used to it. Mine lasted a few weeks and is pretty light.
