A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

 Together with the d3100, it is almost the size of a soap dish, of photographs can be viewed at 
Different pros:
Sharp at f 1.8, convenient focal length for crop, light, small, inexpensive, built-in focus motor.
Has some cons:
Not too kosher bokeh, chromatic aberration up to f 2.8 (fixed in lightroom).
