Review on Elite Gourmet EHC111A Maxi-Matic Personal 14oz Single-Serve Compact Coffee Maker Brewer with Travel Mug by Kimberly Johnson

I was looking for something that would allow me to make a great cup of coffee quickly and easily. This machine definitely does. However, I wonder how long. It's done very smoothly. Also when filling it tends to lose some water before it starts. It also tends to lick and spit hot water from the lid area. I waited a full minute for the coffee to stop dripping and looking safe and when I opened the lid a heap of hot water splashed all over me. Not that bad; scariest of all. But I would be careful with it where kids can reach it. I suppose if it was $19 or less I'd give it 4 stars, but at almost $24 it seems a bit overpriced. For Mr. Coffee, much better made and with a carafe, spend less than $16 on Revain. I just wanted something smaller that would make a great cup of coffee quickly, and that's not the idiotic Keurig. I don't expect it to last very long. I might be pleasantly surprised, but I'm already thinking about what to choose next.
