Positive reviews about them that sound like advertisements are 100% legitimate because they are totally worth checking out. The sound quality is easily comparable to headphones three times the price of these. The highs are crisp and clear and get better after a week of use as you go through the burn-in period. The midrange emphasis is amazing and you might have trouble finding it with headphones these days. The bass is full and heavy and definitely present, but not too strong and doesn't drown out the highs and mids. Vocals are 11/10 if you ask me and I listen to a lot of folk and other genres where the vocals are the main focus. Comfort has been excellent so far, and I often have issues with headphones that hurt after an hour. . I also ordered some memory foam ear tips which greatly improved comfort but even with silicone they fit perfectly. I only gave the noise cancellation a 4/5 because it's not active noise cancellation and relies on noise-cancelling earbuds. Even without active cancellation, they eliminate background noise excellently. Hooking it up was easy, although I did have issues with the headphones automatically popping out of the case. This is pretty much no problem as they connect quickly when you press a button on either one. I haven't had any range issues and can easily walk around a kitchen or room and listen with no issues. Overall these are the best headphones in this price range in terms of value for money. I will update this review after using it for several months. EDIT: I'm still impressed with the sound quality, but I've had some pretty serious connection issues. I've had constant problems since the beginning, but until recently they were bearable. To date (February 11th, I bought them at the end of December) the right earbud was very buggy and when watching YouTube it constantly had an uneven connection and certain frequencies kept dropping out. This also happened with the music. If these headphones had reliable connectivity, they would dominate the $100 wireless headphone market. Also, I've had many issues with headphones changing EQ and volume without warning. This doesn't seem to be an issue with my phone equalizer as these are the only headphones that do. You'll suddenly go from rich, deep bass sound and surprising clarity to a flat and smooth mid-song. I don't know what caused it. As noted in another review, they seem to have better connectivity when the left earbud is connected to your source device. I believe that's because the left is technically ahead and therefore works better with range and connectivity. To be honest I still recommend them and maybe I was just unlucky with mine. I hope Lypertek reads this review and decides to help me because honestly I'm very frustrated with connection issues as it really ruins what I'm hearing. EDIT - DECEMBER 2020 (YEAR LATER) Firmware updates released since my original review that seem to have fixed many connectivity issues. I still recommend them to anyone who is picky about sound and on a budget. :)
