So glad I have this lens, haven't used it for the first time yet. The packaging looked unopened but the instructions looked a bit used. No big deal just wanted to get a lens for my Mark 5 which I just bought. I removed the lens cap and something moved. Strange, I thought. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the lens had appeared to have been used before and the case had broken around the lens itself! The box looked new but the lens was obviously missing. I called Revain customer service and was told I needed to call Tamron customer service. I am not satisfied. I just spent almost $1300 on a broken lens. I took a few shots with it and the image quality was great, especially in manual mode, but I'm afraid if it's been dropped in the past, something else might be wrong with it in the future. I have a Canon version of this lens and I love it and wanted to use it as a backup for my business. I'll call her today to find out what to do. So disappointed :( Edit: This is NOT Tamron's fault. It was a stock error. They sent me a new lens but it arrives in about 2.5 weeks.
