I am very busy and cannot bother to heat the wax in a special heating pad or on the stove. However, I was tired of plucking my mustache one at a time when I had the time. Plus, of course, it's painful to do it this way. Decided to try these. I love that you just warm them up in your hands for a few seconds and then put them on. One quick pull and voila! Pulled out ugly hair. Of course, it's not painless, but it's better than plucking them one at a time. The two stripes face each other in a set that's usually enough to make a mustache, some hair under my lower lip, and some neck (surprising since hair grows with age). You can move the strip around a few times during each session to use it elsewhere and it will still work. My hair is dark and fairly straight and this works well. Sometimes there are a few loose ends that I then have to remove with tweezers, but the wax has already softened them so they come off easily. The only downside is that I wish they had included more wax removal wipes, but baby oil and a wipe work well. Definitely recommend. It is useful to have a well-lit magnifying mirror for this operation. Make sure you have a plug so it's nice and bright. I've read several reviews that talk about irritation, redness, and even the appearance of scabbing or peeling of the skin. Maybe not for people with very sensitive skin but I only had a little redness that goes away quickly otherwise no problem and I've used it a couple of times. Of course, follow the instructions carefully and don't use it more than once per session in the same place. I think if your skin is not very sensitive then like me you should be fine.
