Well I bought it for a holiday and the head fell off after the first use. Lo and behold (as others have pointed out), the filaments are so thin that after one use of the pan for about 10 minutes, they're almost completely worn out. I could unscrew the head and just take it off. As a MacGyver, I spent a good 45 minutes locating a hardware store (I'm on holiday in London mind you) to buy metal super glue (at £7!). As long as it seems to hold up, how long before it fails and I have to buy a new one? I'm not thrilled at all that I had to make this a new topic! I just wanted to return it when I got home, but I didn't want to miss my photos, and something was better than nothing. Despite all the effort. I want to buy another brand. They should refund me half the cost and upgrade their metallurgy! To update! The manufacturer contacted me to replace the old tripod with a new, more professional one. While this is a great deal, I don't need a bigger tripod. As such, they have excellent customer service. I would buy another tripod from them, yes.
