There is a learning curve here. I'm still learning how to embed a package so it's easy. there wasn't enough "volume" at the end to keep it from expanding. I have not tried the bags from this manufacturer mainly because I was not familiar with them and now that I know I will probably stick with what I have. They're a lot cheaper. They may have an odor advantage over other pouches, but what I'm using seems to work well. So I'm happy with the savings and don't notice the odor problem. is not it. Litter Genie is a huge bonus for those who don't want to mess with cat poop. Pulling out the bags means you basically don't bother with areas that have been in contact with feces and urine. And if you're pregnant or have a compromised immune system, you have to be very, very careful (Disclosure: I have multiple sclerosis and my medication is very suppressive. It's my immune system, so I'm very careful about changing these packs .) As said above, there is a learning curve. Finding the right bag and then mastering how to attach it can be a real headache. So it's a compromise. Good value for money and some cost savings over disposal system bags. Not so good if you're open to cat waste issues.
