Thumbs up to any hardware manufacturer that builds hardware that requires you to create accounts on websites in order for the hardware to work. I just want to use the camera. I don't want to use any of your online services. I don't want to register with you, share my details with you, or connect my cameras to your cloud services. I was about to return it because I'm sick of the hardware manufacturer doing it. HP does it with printers, Facebook does it with Oculus. They spend money to use something and you can't do it until you get their permission by providing all your details. But no. decided to just swallow my pride and try to use the damn thing. Fuck you, Mr. customer! You can't use the new hardware you bought because our website sucks and we can't give you a code so you can create an account on our system so you can use the hardware you bought and for which you have paid money. I think I'll send it back at some point. If you want to give away all your data to use your property. have it. If they can even get it to work properly.
