Better than many: Men's

Nice hat. Very well built with great attention to detail. Expensive hats, but if they meet the advertised strength and durability requirements, I think it's worth it. I first came across this hat while looking for a Richardson 168 hat that I have. 2 (similar style - 7 panel design). I was intrigued by the description, especially the durability specs, but was a bit skeptical because of the high price. I usually wear hats for practical reasons like protecting my eyes from the sun/sweat when I'm outdoors/fishing/generally getting dirty, so most of them get dirty from sun/sweat pretty quickly. I'm hoping this one will hold up to more abuse than the Richardsons given the higher quality materials. A few minor annoyances: - The logo under the hem is distracting when worn (I removed it from mine with no problem). - The "badge"/logo on the front is pretty subtle, but I wish it wasn't there or could be easily removed. The hidden pocket is cool as a novelty (if you like it), but it's very small. It would be nice if the hole was a bit bigger to fit a credit card. That's at least double the size of most similar hats in this style, which I think would be better justified if they could somehow figure out how to make them. in the USA.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
