So after reading the reviews now that I have gotten the shorts it turns out mine are the linen ones which I wasn't expecting. These are not soft at all but they are cute on they just don't really look like the picture. They look more like jeans to me. I got the gray. They run a little bit small. I am going to keep them and order the spandex ones and see if I like those also
