Fantastic product and customer support

everything about it is excellent. All parts are of high quality, packed very carefully, the instructions are clear. In our small apartment, a huge range of motion allows you to switch perspectives between the living room and the kitchen. The 15 degree tilt is a lot more than I expected and the little lever you use to tilt is very handy and well implemented - we tilt it for the kitchen and straight set it for another room and that is very easy. They included a good HDMI cable (always handy) and nifty little Velcro loops that give you plenty of room for easy cable management so you don't end up with a crazy cable squid once you've got this thing set up. A very interesting detail. Before I bought it, I wasn't quite sure about the VESA measurement. Basically, my TV was out of spec. I emailed Echogear customer support and received fantastic customer support. Not only were they very friendly and patient, they checked the measurements I gave them and showed me pictures of their test. So I could continue my work and be sure that this thing is compatible. There are cheaper options for similar products but I was impressed by the attention to detail on this company's website and between the quality of the product and the unrealistic customer support I really think they are on the right track. Still a lot cheaper than what I've seen in stores. One general thing I want to say when trying to help someone like me who is inexperienced with these things is that you will need a second person to help you when mounting your TV on the bracket. Assembling the mount itself is easy for one person, and drilling the stud is very easy if you've ever done it. Regardless of what brand you use, mounting a TV to the bracket requires a second person to hold the TV in place while you attach the bracket to the back of the TV, otherwise there simply isn't a safe enough way.. for one. man, doing everything alone. This may be obvious to you, but it didn't occur to me until I started installing it. Again, this would apply to any brand, but I mention this as none of them seem to like putting that detail there. UPDATED: Buying a second one for a relative. I've had mine for over 3 years now and it's great.
