Maxell CD-330 CD to Cassette Audio Adapter

I was quite skeptical that this unit would play acceptable sound through my Honda CR-V Cassette Player , when it is connected to Sansa Fuze. However, I was pleasantly surprised - the sound was not only acceptable, but also very good! As a professional MIDI musician, I'm pretty picky about what I consider "good"; This Maxell adapter far exceeds what I expected from this type of technology. I understand there will be many variables depending on what each consumer can expect in terms of sound quality. Probably the most important factor will be the quality of the cassette deck on which the device, especially the playback heads. The results weren't as impressive on one of my home cassette decks, but still good. Another very important factor is the quality of the MP3s being played; The better the playback device, the easier it is for you to hear the imperfections of an MP3 or other digital file. Finally, some people are happy with 128kbps MP3s (which are pretty low quality to begin with), and none of my MP3s are less than 256kbps. even the ones I bought from Revain. Overall I am very happy with this unit and find it to be a very good and cost effective alternative to the dedicated LINE IN/LINE OUT options found on new car decks. Almost CD quality to be sure.
